While we offer an array of other legal services, our Insurance Defense Practice Group historically has been the cornerstone of the firm.  Since our inception, we have been dedicated to providing quality, timely and economical service to domestic and international insurance companies, trucking companies, airlines, contractors, corporations and individuals requiring a legal defense in civil matters.  Our areas of expert legal services include the defense of tort (both personal and commercial), motor vehicle, product liability, employment, construction litigation, aviation law, trucking accidents, medical/dental malpractice and legal malpractice matters.  

We also provide first party defense of UM/UIM claims, insurance coverage analysis and claims of bad faith/breach of contract.  Simply stated, if the claim/lawsuit arises out of a personal auto, home, commercial, errors and omissions/professional responsibility or umbrella policy, our firm is your answer.  ​

Our attorneys are active in organizations devoted to insurance defense including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC), the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA).  Chris Hanlon is a former president of the AADC.  Attorneys Mike Childers and Chris Hanlon are recognized as preeminent litigators by the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Phoenix Chapter, and Mike Childers is also a Certified Specialist in Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation.
