Chris Hanlon attended Wittenberg University where he received his BS in 1985, and his JD from the John Marshall Law School in 1990, where he was a member of the Moot Court. Mr. Hanlon is licensed in Arizona and Illinois, and is admitted to both the U.S. District Court and the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. Chris is a member and current president of the Phoenix Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He previously served on the Executive Committee of the Arizona Association of Defense Counsel (AADC) and was President from 2011-2012. Chris has also served as a Judge Pro Tem with the Maricopa County Superior Court.
Chris has extensive experience in the areas of bodily injury; product liability; heavy trucking litigation; consumer fraud; Examinations Under Oath (EUOs); and insurance law. In the insurance arena, Chris performs coverage analysis and defends bad faith cases and works extensively with the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of various insurers. He has given numerous seminars to both attorneys and insurance companies relating to all areas of his practice. Mr. Hanlon has in excess of 60 first chair jury verdicts to his credit, both in Arizona and Chicago, Illinois.
