Our History

In 1993, firm founder Michael Perry left his large (150+ attorney) Phoenix all-purpose firm (O’Connor, Cavanagh) in search of a legal life which focused on civil litigation in a boutique setting that would enable the firm to provide superior, timely legal services at a lower cost than large law firms.  Gary Hudson and Chris Hanlon joined the firm in 1996 and 2005 respectively and both became Members.  Michael Childers, formerly of the AV rated firm Turley & Childers, became a Member in July 2013.  Virtually all of our attorneys are listed as Southwest Super Lawyers, members of The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and/or hold an AV® Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell®  With over 250 jury trials to their collective belts, the attorneys at Perry Childers Hanlon & Hudson are “trial lawyers”, not merely "discovery" and "settlement" attorneys.  Despite this, the firm recognizes the client’s interests are always best served by accurately evaluating and favorably resolving each case at the earliest possible stage of litigation.  The firm retains its clients through fair, timely and economical case resolution, being prepared to go to trial, but doing so only if in the best interest of the client.    As a service to its clients, the firm’s attorneys are always available to provide answers to general questions of Arizona law at no charge.  When talking with potential new clients we always say “try us on one case”. We know that the value of a law firm can only be measured by experience. We are sure that your experience as a client of our firm will be a good one and we welcome the opportunity to be of service to you or your company.
